Infinite Abyss Films
Infinite Abyss’s feature films grow out of a broader immersive storytelling practice and treats cinema as a gateway into worlds that extend across live performance, community, and multiple formats.

Our first feature film, The Gravedigger (2019), began as a live stage production before evolving into a feature-length film. That transition from performance to screen shaped how we approach storytelling, allowing atmosphere, character, and audience connection to flow naturally between mediums rather than resetting with each production.

That same approach continues with Big Easy Queens, a cult horror-comedy starring Drag Race’s Suzie Toot, now streaming on Hulu. The film is deeply connected to the world of live drag performance, engaging fans not only through the screen but through upcoming Big Easy Queens live tour experiences that extend the story into participatory, in-person spaces where community and performance intersect.

Our third feature film, American Cryptids, will be released in 2026 and expands Infinite Abyss’s work into a larger folklore-driven universe. Rooted in American monster mythology, the project is designed as a multi-film franchise, with two additional features planned, as well as extensions across podcasts and multiple series. Rather than functioning as a single title, American Cryptids is conceived as an evolving world - one that explores folklore, identity, and myth across formats and over time.

Across all of our films, cinema is not treated as an endpoint, but as one expression within a living narrative ecosystem. Each project is designed to invite audiences deeper into its world, rewarding curiosity and sustained engagement beyond a single viewing.

Infinite Abyss is always open to conversations with collaborators and partners interested in building immersive, genre-driven worlds that live across mediums and communities.
